A member asked:

I grew a bump in my vaginal area , close to my anal region . what could it be ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

BENIGN cyst: Cysts in vaginal area are common due to the many glands that provide lubrication, etc.. The gland towards the bottom of the vagina can 'get plugged up' causing a fluid filled cyst (called a Bartholin's cyst). A complication of the cyst is an infection so i would see your gynecologist (or provider) for confirmation and treatment. Hope you're better soon!
