Maybe not, but...: Maybe not, but a urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result, when done correctly, 1 week after missing a period, or 3 weeks after sex (after presumed conception). A negative test 5 days after missing a period should be reliable, but if no period comes by next week, one can repeat the urine pregnancy test.
