Vicious circle: You sound edgy and lack of sleep makes that worse. You need some relaxation techniques and/or self-hypnosis, and/or transcendal meditation, and/or yoga. Vigourous exercise helps many people by distracting their mind and making them physically tired. Finally a sleep aid may be helpful for short term relief to break the cycle. Talk it over with your doctor. Check the internet for the other things.
