Very benign: Neonatal sleep myoclonus occurs in infants up to 2- 3 months of age. They grow out of it after that without any residuals or consequences. This seizure like activities may be confused with real seizures. But this clonus occurs only when babies are asleep, and stops jerking movement when you wake them up, and usually all 4 extremities, arms and legs jerk.
