See dermatologist: There are many prescriptions to treat acne nowadays including epiduo, retin a, (tretinoin) benzaclin, aczone and others. Occasionally oral antibiotics or birth control pills also are prescribed if needed. Diet can also play a role. Avoiding excessive dairy consumption and limiting high glycemic index foods like chocolate can be helpful. Consult a dermatologist to evaluate and treat the acne.

Acne : Depending on the severity of the acne, combination therapy with topical antibacterials , retinoids , and sometimes oral antibiotics or Accutane may be prescribed . See your dermatologist to evaluate the acne and prescribe the appropriate treatment.
