Apex and vicodin: The only reference to apex i could find was that it is a medication syringe. Vicodin is designed as a tablet to be swallowed whole. It should not be crushed, or tampered with in any way. This is responsible use of medications. As a rule vicodin has to be swallowed whole and taken according to the md's strict instructions.
