Unclear: I'm not sure what your asking, but if you had a diaphragmatic hernia repair and are having pain, it could be normal or a sign of a problem. Your surgeon would be the best one to help sort it out.

In general, no: Pain may be do to tethering of the scar to the underlying closure. This can occur as a person grows. There may be a hernial defect in the scar. It is unlikely to be anything major but worth seeing a surgeon to have it evaluated. You did not mention whether the cdh was corrected as a baby/adult. If it were a congenital dh, you are survivor from the late 60's and so had a great result.
