Thigh pain: First of all, you should find out why the upper thigh throbs. Reasons include: hip arthritis, pinched nerve-sciatic nerve impingment, poor circulation, muscle-tendon strain, and blood clots. Find out what is wrong, then have it treated. Don't just "take something". 30 y/o patients don't have throbbing thigh pain unless something is wrong.
