Can there be a way to help a child who has an atrophy of the white matter?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Intensive therapy: Childhood is the only time we grow new brain cells. Intensive physical, speech and occupational therapy are indicated, as are good nutrition with an emphasis on fats for brain growth. Have your neurologist set up an intensive program for your child, and follow it at home too.
