Maybe: You need a brand name T4 replacement. Depending upon several factors there may be other brand name rx's on the market and covered by your insurance, but Levoxyl (thyroxine) just got taken off the market and won't be back for another year. Synthroid is however, an excellent product. Don't switch to generics, T3 or armour thyroid.
