A member asked:

Would i be able to have stomach surgery to replace it with someone else's?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Intestinal transplants are used in rare circumstances for people with short bowel syndrome, but often do not last very long. There is no indication or procedure for transplanting a stomach that I am aware of.
