Can there be a way to tell if i need supplemental oxygen at home?

Talk to your doc: Need for supplemental oxygen at home is used in advanced stages of various chronic lung disorders such as copd, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis etc. It would be useful to get a detailed assessment done by a pulmonologist to decide if chronic o2 therapy would be beneficial. Level of support depends on underlying severity & type of disease. Talk to your pulmonologist for further assessment.
