Systemic Rx: Acne on the chest, back, and shoulders almost always requires systemic rx. Your physician may start with something like tetracycline 500 2x/day plus perhaps a topical agent, or you may eventually need isotretinoin. There are home remedies that won't be so effective & you're free to try these as well. Acne's a serious, treatable disease & you deserve effective rx.
