Brushing & flossing: .. Are the two most important factors in keeping your mouth healthy and cavity free. Mouthwashes, toothpastes, and other products help in that goal. In addition, a visit to your dentist twice a year is necessary since all of the above does not ever guarantee no cavities or gum disease.

No, but: Proper tooth brushing, flossing and avoiding those sticky starchy and sugary foods that promote cavities will help prevent cavities.
