STDs & Public Health: In many circles there is a standard to treat in high risk situations regardless of test results. The epidemic of gonorrhea and chlamydia is getting worse and this is because not everyone is getting treated appropriately. If there is a risk it is best to get this treated than to become sterile because you weren't appropriately treated.
