Yes. : If the bhcg is 7.6 you are or were pregnant. Occasionally the test can be wrong but very infrequently. With such a low number and the last sex on 5/5 then more than likely you lost the pregnancy and all i would suggest is repeating the bhcg in 1 week to make sure it want back down to normal (<2).

Hcg: Hcg of 7.6 is weekly +. It would have made more sense to track it over time - to get 2-3 readings to see if there is a trend. If us says no baby, does it also say that there is absolutely nothing in the uterine cavity. You may not have the baby, but there may be some other signs of miscarried pregnancy - fetal pole, membranes, etc.
