Vaginal odor: Diet, particularly what women drink, can affect vaginal odor as well as infections. Soda, pop, coffee, tea, juice, alcohol, flavored water, and electrolyte drinks are all diuretics; they make a woman very dry, and sometimes her vaginal secretions very thick and odorous. Drinking plain water, decreasing diuretics, and eating fresh fruit and vegetables (natural water) help if this is the cause.
