A member asked:

Can my regular doctor do the greenlight pvptm in his clinic?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Greenlight photovaporization of the prostate is a surgical procedure performed on men with bothersome lower urinary tract symptoms due to enlarged prostate. It is performed in an operating room (procedure center, hospital, ambulatory surgery center) with anesthesia (general/spinal). There are procedures that can be performed in the office for bph, but greenlight is not one of them.
