Need more info, but: If the diagnosis is prenatal hydronephrosis is the most common anomaly detected by us in the United States. About 1/2 of these cases have normal us when after birth. Of the 1/2 which persist, about 2/3 are due to obstruction by a kink or stricture at the junction of the ureter (tube from the kidney) with the bladder. It is possible I am misunderstanding your question - if so, please ask again.
