Less is best: The key to applying ointments after bathing is to use a very small amount and massage it into the skin. Albolene or white vaseline can be massaged sparingly without being the least bit greasy. Lotions evaporate and actually make you more dry. Lotions are a water phase and just like licking your lips with saliva, you become more dry.
