Your pediatrician: Your pediatrician is your best source of immunization (vaccination) info. He will be able to provide you with the vaccine information statements (viss) from the cdc, provide you with appropriate informed consent info, and discuss the extreme safety of today's vaccines against some of the deadliest childhood diseases. Please see: www.Cdc.Gov/vaccines to have all your questions answered.

VIS's: Vis = vaccine information sheets. Federal law states that these sheets which contain information regarding benefits and risks for each vaccine be given to patients and parents at each vaccination. You can find vis sheets for all of the required childhood vaccines at http://www.Cdc.Gov/vaccines/pubs/vis/default.Htm.

Cdc.gov: The centers for disease control website and the american academy of pediatrics website both have accurate information on vaccines and the diseases they prevent.
