A member asked:

Is swollen eye a sign of some disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: Swellen tissues around the eye including the eyelids are usually indicative of allergic inflammation, infection and referred swelling sometimes from an adjacent sinus. Rarely it could arise from thyroid disease or a tumor. Your ophthalmologist can sort this out for you.
