This may be normal : It depends on the circumstances. Are you sexually active? If so you may want to do a pregnancy test , just to be safe. Are you on birth control pills or using another form of contraception? Irregular bleeding sometimes occurs as a side effect of oral contraceptive pills or injectable contraceptives. If this only happens once , don't worry about it. If it repeats, you should consult a doctor.
