Hyst?: Fibroids by themselves are rarely an indication for hysterectomy. Prolapse if causing uncomfortable pressure, pain with urination, pain with intercourse, leaking urine may be a reason for hysterectomy. None of these are life threatening by lifestyle threatening which is a reason. Ultimately it is up to you if you think you need it. Do what feel right to you.
