A member asked:

What are the signs that your inr is to high? and what should be done to correct that?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Warfarin?: The inr is used to track anti coagulation in patients using warfarin. It is used because coagulation needs to be tracked to avoid too much or too little. In that sense most of the time there are no signs until there is a serious problem (bleeding for example). The best thing to do is to check the inr frequently and to keep a stable diet avoiding foods that interact with warfarin.
