9-14: Most commonly for women with 28 day cycles, their most fertile days will be days 9-14 after the start of their period (the first day of bleeding is day #1). Having said that, a woman can get pregnant on any day of her cycle, just less likely at the beginning and end of her period. My mother swears she conceived me on day #4!

Ovulation timing: The optimal time for conception is 48 hours prior to and up to the day of ovulation. Therefore, start having intercourse a couple of days prior to when you actually ovulate and have intercourse every other day for a total of five times to help ensure sperm are there when you ovulate.
