See below: Fevers alone are not worrisome in a 3 year old unless they are higher than 105, go on for 5 days or more without resolving, or if the child is having other issues like respiratory problems, signs of dehydration, mental status changes such as lethargy or inconsolability. The fever is most likely related to the viral illness causing the rhinitis. Tx supportively and if worsens, see doc.
