For a short while: Hi, diclofenac is a very strong NSAID (same family as ibuprophen). It can lead to kidney dysfunction if used for a long time. It can also harm your stomach and intestines. Take it Omeprazole otc to reduce risk of ulcers if you plan on taking it orally for a time period. It also comes in a form of a patch (flector) and a cream (voltaren) which target the area of pain better.
