Yes: Good call about this being depression. Graduation can certainly precipitate this. You miss the security. Get to a doctor and see about what to do. Often it's not simple depression, but a mood problem that needs special treatment. You can get through this, but get some help.

Grief & depression: Differentiating between grieving and mood disorder can be difficult, but is important since treatments differ. If suicidal thoughts or hopelessness are part of your experience, depression is more likely. Both conditions can bring crying spells, along with feelings of separation from others. Sounds like you know others do care, though. Talking with a counselor or psychologist may help a lot!
