Orchalgia: It can be permanent depending on the extent of the injury. It seems swollen you may have a hydrocele(fluid around the testicle. Depending on the size you may seek evaluation to discuss the possibility of surgery if it interferes with your daily life activities. Surgery will not improve the sensitivity of the testis. Sometimes using injection of local anesthetic into spermatic cord can give relief.
