How long after having mono will it show up in a blood test? and how long must you have it before it will show up

It depends: It depends on the blood test, mono spot is helpful but not as sensitive as IgG and IgM titters. Igg will show if you have ever had it and IgM will show a recent or current infection.

Depends : A conventional mono spot may be positive during the acute phase. There are multiple specific tests for Epstein Barr virus with varying time lines.
