How much will cold medicine raise your blood pressure?

Probably not: The street advice is to avoid cold medicines if you have hbp but in my experience, there's really little or no increase. Antihistamines don't tend to raise it all. Vasoconstrictors like Pseudoephedrine theoretically can, but again. No mucho!

Cold Medicine: All cold medicines are not alike. The products containing only an antihistamine should not have a major effect on blood pressure. Decongestants, on the other hand, often do cause an increase in blood pressure. If you're concerned, avoid products with pseudo ephedrine (ephedrine sulfate). You may want to consider monitoring your BP when taking any cold medicine.
