Not much: Eye drops are calibrated to allow you to feel the drop on your eye. You will immediately blink out the excess and what remains is the correct amount. You need the excess to feel the drop. If you are talking about injected medication, about 0.1 cc is the maximum as more will elevate the eye pressure above safe levels.
