For oral problem: Nothing is as good as professional medical or dental treatment. That being said, you need to keep the area clean without irritation. Avoid citrus & other acidy foods, avoid scratching the area and alcohol mouthwash. Try luke warm water in a small glass with 1 teaspoon of baking soda and rinse often to keep area clean. If you need to avoid sodium then this is not for you.
