Aches and Pains: Ahhh the aches and pains of pregnancy. Your baby is fine. Especially if you are feeling the baby move. 22 weeks can be the most painful time of pregnancy. All the ligaments and muscles begin to stretch as the belly grows. This stretching can be quite painful. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is safe to take in pregnancy for the pain. But please avoid Motrin and aspirin.

If abdominal pain is recurrent and lasting several hours at rest, then an exam by you obstetrician is advisable to evaluate your cervix.
