Different causes: Intake of saturated fats is the biggest culprit in raising cholesterol. Sgpt will go up with any thing that damages the liver, including, hepatitis, drug side effects, but most commonly, use of alcohol. An unhealthy diet and intake of alcohol will raise both.

Lots of stuff: Desire all the grandstanding, cholesterol is mostly genetic. High SGPT has many causes and can be anything from alcohol to painkillers to chronic hepatitis to drug allergy to your body asking for more exercise.
