A doctor has provided 1 answer

Puberty: Girls usually go through the puberty related growth spurt earlier than boys. Usually 3-4 yrs after starting menstruation girls stop growing. Boys on the other hand have slow and steady growth spurt and keep growing till around 18-19 yrs of age.
