See below: It is first good to know what type of leukemia they have? There are at least 4-5 different types, typically classified as acute leukemia or chronic leukemia and each category has myeloid or lymphatic lineages. The the age makes a difference in the odds of cure. Lastly it is good to ask if their leukemia is in complete remission(cr) or not...This is especially critial in order to survive acute leuk.
