Ambien (zolpidem): I believe you're referring to fiorinal with codeine. It is not a good idea to mix narcotics and sleeping medication, such as Codeine and ambien (zolpidem). This could result in the sedation and possible respiratory depression. Additionally both drugs are metabolized by the liver and could cause liver damage. Make sure that your prescribing doctor knows that you're taking both medications and discuss it thoroughly with your prescribing physician.

Drug interactoins.: Since I was not able to find a medication called cosine used in any countries, I am also assuming that you are referring to Fiorinal with Codeine. Just as in the previous response, I recommend against that. Per the drugs.Com drug interaction checker mixing these medications could cause "respiratory distress, coma, and even death."
