Syphilis: Chancres or ulcerations can be seen with different infections but most commonly with primary syphilis. this chancre will clear if not treated but will lead to secondary and possibly tertiary syphilis which infects the brain. Any ulcer on the penis should be seen by a dermatologist or urologist. If treated with antibiotics, the infection is cleared. But in cases of untreated syphilis a recurrence
