Tummy time: By being on his tummy he strengthen his neck , head and back muscles, he learns to control his head better and helps to round his head. On his tummy he also is expanding his vistas.

He should be observed during tummy time on a flat, comfortable but firm surface. Avoid any bedding around his head. The tummy is important to improve muscle strength and neck/head control. He should have his usual immunizations per AAP guidelines. Please discuss his schedule with your Pediatrician. Allowing 15 minutes at a time is recommended as tolerated.
