Go for it: Coffee has stimulant properties that may influence a babies sleep/wake cycle when used regularly.Some consider that worthy of avoiding it. It is only dangerous in the premi and newborn who have not developed the enzyme systems that can break the caffeine down.For them a little caffeine can hang around for weeks.Older kids like yours are at no risk.
