Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate): You are actually on a medication called augmentin, (amoxicillin and clavulanate) and in 2 1/2 days you should have noticed improvement. The lump may be an abcess that needs to be drained in order for it to get better, or it may be a resistant bacteria like MRSA that needs a different antibiotic. Time to return to doctor for further evaluation.
