Antihistamines: In general the class of antihistamines that includes Loratadine and Cetirizine is well tolerated, safe and effective. While most people tend to have a better effect with one or the other, there really is no significant risks if these 2 are taken together. If allergies are not controlled, an allergist can develop a better treatment plan as other more effective medications are available.
