More info please: Hard to pinpoint a response, since your question is so nonspecific. You may want to consider: diet, duration and location of your symptoms, associated distress (like flu or 'stomach bug'), exposures to sick individuals, stressors. Definitely see your doctor if symptoms worsen or persist.

Lots; Mind to Bowels: As embodied souls connected to a mind, brain & body, control is top down with millions of feedback signals/second. Thus "causes" could be at any or multiple levels from mental/emotional (internalized fears/anger/pain - like a test), ingested food judged distasteful, bowel discoordination, infections, etc. Fever only one sign of brain response to some infections (increase temp so wbcs work better).
