Is it effective to use cephalexin to cure my peptic ulcer?

No: Peptic ulcers can be caused by helicobacter pylori (bacterial) infection. Keflex does not have activity against this bacteria. It is usually treated with a combination of amoxicillin, clarithromycin, Metronidazole and a proton pump inhibitor.
