Can transient global amnesia be cured?

TGA: Transient global amnesia (tga) has no known specific cause and no specific treatment. That's the bad news. The good news is that it almost always goes away by itself in 1 to 3 days and is unlikely ever to come back.

No "cure." It rarely comes back, however these events can be precipitated by strenuous activity (including coitus), high stress events, and there is an association with migraines. Studies are not conclusive, however risk factors considered include migraine, coronary artery disease and hyperlipidemia. An individual approach to reducing risk is often collaborated between neurology/primary care
