I'm a 25 year old female. i have chest pain like someone is rubbing there fist on my sternum. how likely is a heart attack? i am terrified, help.

Chest pain: Would be extremely rare for a woman at age 25 to have heart attack due to the protective benefit of estrogen. Would note when you have discomfort, as timing and association with activities may lead toward the cause. Certainly remembering what makes the pain worse is important as well, such as after a meal suggesting possible esophageal source. Is there a cough or shortness of breath with pain?
