UVA & UVB: Make sure the sunscreen you choose is at least an spf 30 and that it says it has both uva and uvb protection. Use liberally and make sure to reapply if sweating or in the water. I don't care what the bottle claims - no sunscreen is waterproof! also, remember to try and avoid the strongest direct sun in the day from 11am-3pm. Finally wear a wide brimmed hat if she'll leave it on her head!
