Yes but rare: Even a tubal sterilization procedure can fail leading to an unwanted pregnancy but it is very rare. If it does occur, there is a very high chance the pregnancy is in the tube or what is called an ectopic pregnancy. This requires immediate evaluation by an obgyn. As to why this happens, sometimes type of sterilization matters (bipolar or burning the tubes has a 33 per 1000 risk of failing.

It's possible but : Less likely. A tubal pregnancy can happen which may present with increasing pelvic pain, nausea, vomiting etc. Do a pregnancy test for confirmation. Take care !
